The Postgraduate Programme titled “Advanced Computer Systems Technologies” is organized by the Department of Information and Computer Engineering of the University of West Attica (Government Gazette FEK 838/5-2-2024).

 

Duration
The minimum duration for the completion of the Postgraduate Diploma is three (3) academic semesters.

 

Tuition Fees
Tuition fees amount to €1,600 in total. Payments are made at the start of each semester as follows: €600 for the first semester and €500 for each subsequent semester. In accordance with the provisions of Article 35 of Law 4485/2017, up to 30% of the enrolled students may be exempted from tuition fees based on financial criteria.

 

Course Delivery
Classes are held on Friday afternoons and Saturdays. The educational process is supported by electronic methods of synchronous and asynchronous learning through the use of an online platform.

 

Subjects Covered
Τα αντικείμενα του ΠΜΣ περιλαμβάνουν, μεταξύ άλλων, τεχνολογίες blockchain, κρυπτογραφία, ασφάλεια, ιδιωτικότητα, μη επανδρωμένα αυτόνομα οχήματα (drones), smart cities, smart transportation, precision agriculture, μηχανική μάθηση, neuromorphic computing, εικονική και επαυξημένη πραγματικότητα, 3d printing, Industry 4.0, αλληλεπίδραση ανθρώπου – υπολογιστή με τεχνητή αίσθηση και edge computing.

The Postgraduate Programme covers a range of subjects, including, but not limited to: blockchain technologies, cryptography, security, privacy, unmanned autonomous vehicles (drones), smart cities, smart transportation, precision agriculture, machine learning, neuromorphic computing, virtual and augmented reality, 3D printing, Industry 4.0, human-computer interaction with artificial sensing, and edge computing.

 

Eligibility
Eligible candidates include graduates of university departments, Technological Educational Institutes (TEI), and military schools in fields related to informatics and computer engineering, as well as graduates from equivalent recognized institutions abroad, preferably with a background in sciences or technology. Admission is granted following a selection process.
